Carta Bella – Happy Christmas | Jackie Ashton

Hello Crafters, Jackie here with my first post for 2022 and I would like to wish you all a Very Happy New Year. I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and enjoyed spending time with your families and friends. I’m trying to keep the spirit of Christmas going for a few more weeks, and decided to use this lovely collection to help me document a few things from over the season.

Here is my first layout for 2022, I using Carta Bella – Happy Christmas collection, this collection as which lovely tones of green, red and kraft but not the traditional bright Christmas tones, so it give your project the traditional colours without the brightness that some other collections have.

Joy – Tea Time

My first drink of the day is always a lovely cup of tea, so its no exception at Christmas time and I had the perfect mugs to keep with my daily routine, with some new Disney Christmas Mug.

To stat my layout, I added some Rangers Distress Oxide Ink to my white cardstock, I used Candid Apple and used the packaging technique.

I printed my photo 3×4 and layered patterned paper from the 6×6 pad behind.

As I took my photo near the tree, I used the tree patterned paper as one of the layers. Adding a punched edged layer of patterned paper behind.

I added a green banner to the right of my photograph. The word ‘Joy” is from the 3×4 journalling card paper, that I cut down to better suit my layout.

To form my title I used a new product from JD3D prints which is ideal for this layout, and alphabet stickers from the sticker book from this collection.
