Capture the Moment, Simple Stories For the Record | Julie Taylor

Julie here with you today & I’m sharing my first layout using Simple Stories For the Record collection.

I started with some cute photos of Paddington. This collection looks more office/stationery themed but this proves you can use for anything.

I added some MM by brayering on some Salvaged Patina oxide ink, in a few areas, & then stamping over the top, with some word stamps, in the same colour ink. This gives a more muted, subtle look.

Using paper out the 6×8 paper pad I added a column over towards the right & added some ruched trim to the right edge.

I placed 2 photos, one offset to the other & then embellished around them using tags, chipboard & die cuts.

I added my title, a foam sticker, onto a die cut ephemera piece, above the second photo.

I added in a few bits out the bits & pieces section, in the store, canvas flair, fabric heart, crocheted heart & small flowers, these just add to the clusters & make the layout more interesting.
