Bring on the colour Fest

Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing 2 colourful layouts using Vicki Boutin Color Kalidescope. this collection is real great, full of vibrant colours & fun elements!!

Live Colourful

I first started by adding all my mixed media to the right hand side, using the fabulous Watercolour markers & the chasing rainbows paper as a guide for my colours. I then stamped & embossed all the paintbrushes & added those onto the watercolours. I ripped & curled the chasing rainbows paper & added that on top & a piece of Vicki Boutin Foundation paper.

I added some more watercolours to the foundation paper & added my photos & embellishments over that, using the Icon Ephemera die cuts pack.

My title comes from the Phrase & Icon Puffy Thickers & a die cut ephemera.

Love Ya

For my 2nd layout I first added some mixed media, down the centre line, to some foundation paper, adding Mustard Seed oxide ink, using the packaging technique & adding a few splatters. then adding some Seedless Preserves & Peacock Feathers oxide inks through stencils, in circles up the page.

I added my 2 photos on paper matts from the 6×8 paper pad & put them going up the page, on top of one another & tucked bits & pieces of ephemera around them, from top to bottom.

I’ve ripped & distressed the 2 outside edges & added patterned paper from the 6×8 paper pad behind.

Thanks for joining me today & I hope you have enjoyed seeing my take on this collection. I’ll be back next month with 2 more layouts using the same supplies.
