BOLD AND BRAVE – AMY TANGERINE – JOURNAL BY Emilie Chamel

Hi everybody! Emilie Chamel here with a slightly different project to share with you. I had fun using the Bold and Brave collection by Amy Tangerine for this one. Are you ready to see it? Here we go!

Lately I have been going through a little bit of a creative slump. This made me want to use some of my crafty time as “Self care” time and came up with this little journal. It measures 8″x 4″ and is 1 1/2″ thick. Small but mighty!

I created the cover using the stunning “Midnight garden” sheet and decorated with foam stickers.

The inside is lined with the “Brave and bold” sheet and consist of 3 “mini books” made out of paper scraps and attached to the cover with twine.

All the patterned paper work beautifully together to create a happy place for me to jot down my thoughts throughout the weeks and months.

I found that the best way to attach pages of different sizes together is to pass the centre of each mini books through my sewing machine.

Here I have a little exemple of how I will use this journal. My plan is to add quotes that resonate with me and jot down a few thoughts. It helps me meditate on the quote and assimilate it. A good way to add some positivity to my life I think!

Bright colours and bold statements are the name of the game here!
