Blessed – Simple Stories – Front Porch Collection – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here sharing my first layout using.Simple Stories Front Porch Collection. This is such a gorgeous collection which has a mixture of bright and pastel colours. I have used it to document a meal out in London with my children for Mother’s Day. My dress went so well with the lovely pinky red colour in the collection!

I used a 6×4 photo as I wanted to highlight the photo on this layout. I placed it centrally on the layout. I really loved the 12×12 So Blessed paper with all the scalloped lace. I fussy cut three coloured strips of the lace  and attached them under the photo. I then placed one of the floral clusters from the Floral Bits and Pieces over the lower edge of the photo and the scallops to decorate.

I fussy cut three tags from the 12×12 Tag Elements paper and distressed their edges. I tucked all three of them in behind the photo. I added a butterfly from the 12×12 sticker sheet.

The sticker sheet has several tab sticker on  it and the yellow one was a perfect match to position down the side of the photo. I tucked a floral cluster behind the top of the photo and  added the Blessed sticker over the top as a title. I added another butterfly from the sticker sheet to embellish further.

 

Finally across the top of the layout I used the large scalloped sticker and as an edge and then added some more stickers to embellish.
