Birthday Layouts with Pink Paislee Confetti Wishes and Pretty Little Studio It's Your Birthday
Hey there, Niki here with you today with five layouts make about my daughter’s 7th birthday, using two collections: Confetti Wishes by Pink Paislee, and It’s Your Birthday by Pretty Little Studio. The reason I have combined the two collections is becuase they compliment each other well and I wanted a mixture of 12×12 papers as well as cute embellishments. The Pink Paislee Collection had the 12x12s and the Pretty Little Studio had the most gorgeous embellishments and the two have worked really well together.
My first layout ‘SEVEN’ uses an outline alphabet cut file (Just Nick) to make the word Seven, and I’ve backfilled the letters using the It’s your Birthday 6×6 papers by Pretty Little Studio. I’ve added tags and frames in a stack behind my photo and added one of those gorgeous flair badges as well as some word stickers.
My second layout ‘Super’ uses a balloon cut file (available from Silhouette Design Store) which again I’ve backfilled using the It’s Your Birthday 6×6 papers. I’ve then just used a couple of frames and one tag and lots of cut embellishments around my photos.
For my third layout ‘Make a Wish’ I’ve used a large cut file from the Silhouette Design Store and again have backfilled using the Its Your Birthday papers. I managed to get three photos onto this layout, even with a giant cake! Becuase those elements take up a lot of space I kept the rest of the layout pretty simple.
For this layout ‘Sleepover’ I created the title using the Its your Birthday papers and another cut file. I cut the letters out of one paper and cut a border for them from the yellow paper. The banner with all the birds (you’ve just gotta love flamingos, parrots and toucans all wearing party hats!!) came from one of the Pink Paislee Confetti Wishes papers which I fussy cut out and places across the white background. The tags and frames are again from the PLS collection.
Finally, for my last layout I used the It’s your Birthday papers to cut the large triangles and then built the layout up using lots of tags and frames and I added lots of the die cut words.
I really enjoyed using these collections as a combination. I often don’t order Pretty Little Studio products due to there not being any 12×12 papers but this method of getting the PLS embellishments and 6×6 papers together with a few 12x12s from another collection worked brilliantly for me and I’ll definitely be doing it again as the PLS embellishments are absolutely gorgeous!
