Better Together – Simple Stories – Front Porch – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! Here is my second layout for May using Simple Stories Front Porch Collection. Once again my photo was the perfect colour match to the colours in the collection!

I chose to use another single photo for my layout and embellish around it. I used two papers from the 6×8 paper pad and tore two curved pieces which I attached together across the page. I roughed up the lower edges and then over the top edge, added a fussy cut scalloped border. I matted the photo and attached it to the left of the midline. I used some of the floral ephemera to embellish to the right of the photo and added a sticker from the sticker sheet.

Further to the right I added a large bird on a twig  from the Birds and Butterflies bits and pieces. I used a couple of button stickers around the flowers.

To the left  of the photos I used three tags from the 12×12 Tag Elements sheet. I then added a Tab sticker and a few more flowers and a bird from the ephemera packs.

Finally at the top edge of the layout I created a cluster using tags and floral ephemera.
