Before & After and Bedtime using Cocoa Vanilla Studio Legendary | Niki Rowland

Hey everyone, this is Niki here (@nikiclairecreates) today with two layouts to share using the super-wonderful Legendary Collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I already shared two earlier in the month and you can check those out here.

From this collection I had the 12 x 12 papers, the Accessory Stickers, the Clear Stickers, the Die Cut Ephemera, the Die Cut Titles, the Enamel Dots and the Flair Buttons.

For my first layout I have opted to use the Brave Heart paper for my background – I am in love with this paper so much!

I added mixed media to some white card in shades of blue and I machine stitched through it several times in black thread. I then used large items from the ephemera pack to form the bases for my photos. I printed my photos in black and white becuase there were all sorts of colours in them that wouldn’t have worked with this layout!

I built up my clusters with more ephemera and stickers and I also added some wooden stars and sequins.

For my title I used Thickers from my stash and I finished off with some silver thread and drops of black ink.

 

For my second layout today I am documenting my little boy’s bedtime routine, its really cute how he is captivated by the program he watches each evening and I wanted to capture this moment and record the memory.

So I cut a large television on my silhouette using black cardstock. I then put the photos inside the television – like they were the picture on the screen.

I backed the television screen with the gray side of the All Star paper becuase it reminded me of television static! I added a few paper layers under the television and also under my photos. I built up my clusters either side of the photos using ephemera and stickers. I also used the moon & stars flair button, so perfect for this layout.

I added a moon and stars to the top of the layout to signify night time and I used Thickers from my stash to add my title. I added lots of little label stickers and some of the clear ones too. I love how this layout turned out.

I hope you have enjoyed my Legendary layouts today, I have really enjoyed creating with this collection, and I suspect I’ll be making many more layouts with it too!
