Away we go, Echo Park | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies, Julie back with you today, sharing a layout using the lovely new collection Away we go by Echo Park. It’s a lovely travel collection with muted primary colours.

 

Meeting Stitch

 

 

I looked at the colours, in this collection, & saw Disney & that was perfect as my daughter had just been to Disney in Paris & I had new photos to scrap!!!

 

 

 

 

I started by laying down some ink, around the page, in the areas where I was adding the products. I made a vertical column, on the left, & adhered 3 photos & my title using Simple Stories Color Vibe foam alpha stickers in yellow & some smaller alphas out my stash.

I added my main photo, at the top right over one of the chipboard frames & ‘dangled’ a few of the tag ephemera off it.

 

 

 

 

I finished it off by ‘drawing’ through the stencil, in the collection, instead of inking through it I took a pen & followed the gaps to draw arrows around the page.
