Autumn Scrapbooking with Carta Bella Fall Market with Process Video

Hi everyone, this is Niki back with you today and I have two layouts to share using the Autumn themed collection ‘Fall Market’ by Carta Bella.

I’m not a big fan of Autumn collections, it’s definitely not my favourite season and I tend to avoid autumn themed collections but this one caught my eye at a retreat where I could see it in real life. The colour combinations in the Fall Market collection are really very pretty. There is a process video for both of my layouts today that can be viewed at the end of this blog post.

For my first layout, I wanted to use that lovely red gingham paper but it was a bit too busy for me to use as my background so I tore two large strips to put on either side of my layout.

I added some extra paper layers and then started adding ephemera. Some of the ephemera pieces in the Carta Bella Fall Market pack were quite big, so I used them as paper layers. I love to layer and build up clusters so these were really good for that.

I added some chipboard pieces from the chipboard sticker sheet and and tucked in more ephemera.

I finished off with some wood veneer hearts and open leaves and some sequins of course!

 

 

For my second layout I used this aqua striped paper for a large part of my background. I also added a second striped paper from the Fall Market collection underneath.

I created a photo cluster with a doily and a large piece of wood veneer. I built up embellishment clusters at both bottom corners of my photo cluster.

To the top of the layout I added in a strip of yellow paper. I love this colour combination so much! I used more ephemera and some chipboard ad I also used some fussy cut pumpkins. I painted the wood veneer with a gold shimmery paint.
