August 2024 challenge | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies, Julie with you today & I’m setting the August 2024 monthly challenge.

I’ve chosen to go with use a large title on your page. I hardly even use a large title, normally sticking to the ones in the sticker sheets & in ephemera packs but the Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Chipboard Titles have definitely changed that & I’ve used them on my last 3 layouts!!! They are white so easy to change with inks, stencils, etc & all are generic words so easy to use on any layout.

I’ve inked my word with 3 different shades of blue oxide inks & inked over the top with white ink to give it some texture.

The collection I’m using today is Summer Porch by 49 and Market, a stunning collection & just perfect for my cute beach photo.

You have until midnight on the 31st August to create your page & upload it to the August 2024 challenge album on our Chat & Inspiration Facebook page.
