August 2020 Challenge – Horizontal Stripes

Hi there, Jo here with the August 2020 challenge.

My challenge this month is for you to create a layout using horizontal stripes.

I’ve used a ticket patterned paper which I’ve cut into strips and slightly layered when I stuck it on to the cardstock. This is an old paper from my stash by October Afternoon, remember them? I also used stickers from Crate Paper’s Hooray collection, the word boy is from the Crate Paper Magical Forest and the black thickers are from my stash.

You can use whatever you like to create the horizontal stripes – patterned papers, paint, washi tape… it’s up to you.

Fellow DT member Amy has created an inspiration layout too.

You have until midnight on 31st of August to upload your entries into the August 2020 Challenge album on the Facebook page, over at Hey Little Magpie Chat and Inspiration, to be in with a chance of winning 1000 Magpie points, worth £10, which will be added to your HLM account.
