Arden Creative Studio – Been There Collection | Jackie Ashton
Jackie here with my recent layout using Arden Creative Studio Been There collection, and I love how the soft travel motifs and layered textures came together across the page.

To begin, I added stencil details to the right-hand side of the white cardstock background using the new This Way arrow stencil from the collection. I lightly outlined some of the arrows to give them extra definition and help draw the eye across the layout. This small detail adds texture without overpowering the layout.

For the main layers, I selected one of the map patterned papers from the 12×12 paper pad and cut it down to 7 inches wide. I distressed the right edge by tearing it slightly and rolling it back to create extra texture and movement. I repeated the same technique with another patterned paper positioned underneath, which helped add extra texture to my layout.
The photographs were printed in a 3×2 size and backed with coordinating patterned papers from the 6×8 paper pad. I arranged the photos vertically down the left-hand side of the layout, creating a strong visual line. Around the photographs, I tucked in various ephemera pieces from the collection to add layers and little travel-themed details.

To bring everything together, I tied the tags with thread and allowed the thread to run loosely down the page, adding softness and flow to the overall design.
Finally, I finished the layout with a small embellishment cluster in the bottom right corner, to help balance the layout.

Hope you get some inspirations from y layout using this lovely collection.
