All You Need is Ice-Cream | Fancy Pants Design | Jackie Ashton

Hello Magpies,

Well how are you a doing after the weekend of scrapping fun.  What a fantastic weekend that was, as usual I didn’t manage to do as many as I wanted to do, but I enjoyed seeing all the entries arriving into the albums.  It such a joy to see you sharing your designs with us.

For my blogpost today, I’m sharing a layout using a new collection from Fancy Pants Design – Cherry on the Top – its so fresh and bright and like the name says are ideal for any ice cream layouts, but is versatile that it can be used for any other photographs you want to scrap.

All you need is Ice Cream

To start my layout I trimmed down Fancy Pants Design – Cherry on the Top – All the Yum to 11.5 x 11.5 and attached it to my white cardstock.

I choose a piece of patterned paper from the  Fancy Pants Design – Cherry on the Top – 6×8 Pad as my base for my photographs, and used several patterned papers from the 6×8 pads to add layers behind my photograph.

I added a felt embellishment from Fancy Pants Design – Cherry on the Top – Felt pieces, and I also made my own ice-cream embellishments, using some dies in my stash.

And also added a few embellishments from the die cut pack.

I used the cut apart sheet to be my title.
