All Smiles | Simple Stories Tea Garden | Emma Kate

Hello Magpies, Spring has finally sprung & what better way to document it than using a fresh & vibrant scrapbooking collection to document those moments. This month I have the pleasure of working with the adorable Tea Garden collection from Simple Stories, full of super cute creatures & beautiful florals.

My page started with the Fresh Air patterned paper as the background (cut to 11×11 inches) then using the Tag Elements cut apart sheet I created a frame of tags. I also used one of the tags as a template so I could cut out my photo in the same tag shape.

Using both the Journal Bits & Floral Bits ephemera packs I embellished my tags, I absolutely love the little bumble bee! My title All Smiles from the Cardstock Stickers was just the vibe I was going for.

I mounted the entire page with a dark contrasting colour, it really allows the vibrancy of the collection to shine through, then again onto white cardstock, to bring out the whites of the page. I’m a big fan of the white boarders, I like that everything is encased all neat into one little 12×12 package.

For my finishing touches I used threads & twines from the April Hey Little Magpie Embellishment kit which complemented the Simple Stories Tea Garden collection perfectly & to my joy it contained a packet of sequins which I sprinkled across my entire page.
