Adventure, Here and Now! – Paige Evans – Adventurous – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone, It’s Wendy here and I’m sharing my second layout for September using Paige Evans’ Adventurous Collection. I’m still documenting my cruise and the suitcase paper was just perfect for one of our photos on arrival in Bologna!

I started by gutting the 12×12 paper 2 from the collection and trimming a piece of 12×12 white card stock to create a border for my layout. I then chose four correlating papers from the 6×8 paper pad, and cut them into strips to use as a grid on the page. I matted my photo three times with other papers from the paper pad. I fussy cut the whole page of suitcases from the 6×8 paper pad.  I distress all the edges of each suitcase. I then played around on the positioning of them on the layout. i decide to use the large chipboard die cut plane in the top left corner as we had just flown in, sometimes I do wish I didn’t have to be so literal with embellishments!

I then added the large chipboard die cut travel globe in the opposite corner to balance the layout along with a suitcase stack and some of the puffy phrase stickers.

At the top of the strips I added the word Adventure from the Puffy phrase stickers and more suitcases, i also created a small cluter of them to the right side of the photo, again balancing the layout. I  added an enamel dot geo tag at the top of the photo.

To the left of the photo I added more Puffy sticker phrases an suitcases, I chose the phrases which all worked well for the layout but also were all of the same font amazingly!
