Today I’m showcasing the gorgeous Embellishment Kit that HLM offers. It’s a subscription, that comes monthly, & contains lots of lovely sourced bits & pieces you can’t get elsewhere!!! just perfect for adding those unique items on your pages.

The kit I’m using is the May one & it has knitted flowers, felt heart, beautiful trims, labels , exclusive flair & much more.

I decided to go with black cardstock, as my base, as I love how it makes colours pop & my photo was colourful so wanted to match that. I’ve used the same photo twice but printed one in black & white, I like doing this & used the B&W one as a layer behind the colour one. I added some MM, texture paste through a stencil & then splattered with some paint from the Vicki Boutin Cosmic watercolour sets. If you have any of these paints try using on black cardstock they look great!!

I cut down my black cardstock & double mounted it on patterned papers from 49 and Market Toddler time collection, to bring in some added colours & sewed around the edge.

I added my 2 photos, in the centre & embellished to the left & up & right & down, tucking in all the goodies from the kit & a few embellishments out of the Toddler time embellishment packs.

I cut out a few of the Long Stem Wildflowers, using the die, just in white & added those in.

Using the Long Stem Leaves die, I cut a few in green to also tuck in.

The Flair badge was perfect & I added it to the right of the photo & my title came from the Toddler Time embellish pack & a JD3D wood word out a previous Embellishment Kit.
