A Slice of Life | Jackie Ashton
Hello Magpies, Jackie here with my layouts for this month. Have you all had a lovely summer, and are all getting back into our normal routine life again after our Summer holiday, I know I am. For my layouts this month, I’m using the fun collection from Amy Tangerine – Slice of Life, which is full of amazing colours and fun elements.
Ball Pit Fun

For my first layout I wanted to scrap a few of the photographs taken at in a Adult Ball Pit in New York – OMG! it was so much fun – I now know why kids love them so much.
I distressed the background using the packaging technique and Broken China oxide ink, adding some small details using a stencil and using Worn Lipstick oxide ink.
Looking though my stamp collection, I noticed that the lovely Elle’s Studio – Magic Memories – Stamps – on this layout, and not just for Disney themed ones.

I added a 2 No. 4 inch strips of patterned, ripping the lower edge to add some texture.
I printed my photographs at 3×3 square with a white border, and added some patterned papers, underneath, at a slight angle.
I finished the layout with puffy stickers and some Elle’s Studio Puffy stickers, and add my journalling to one of the die cut shapes from this collection.
Love you … my 2nd layout I went very minimalistic, but love how it turned out.

Again using Broken China oxide ink and the packaging technique, I added to to my white cardstock, and added some stamped images – using stamps from my stash.
Adding a simple matt of papers behind my photograph.
For my title I used a die cut from this collection and puffy alpha stickers.
Finishing the page with puffy hearts from Elle’s Studio.

I have loved working with this collection, and will be back later in the month with 2 more layouts.
Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget to join us on our Facebook page.
Till next time.
Happy scrapping
