6×6 Paper Pad Scrapbook Layout Inspiration | Echo Park | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, I’m back with another inspiration layout using just a 6×6 inch paper pad. I began by cutting each 6×6 page from the Echo Park ‘Telling Our Story’ collection along the diagonal thus creating 8 triangles, I then pieced them together to form a 12×12 square.

I adhered each triangle with a little adhesive in the centre to hold them in place whilst I machine stitched in white thread along each edge. Next I placed my three 3×4 photo’s at the centre of my page, angling the outer two slightly.

Then using the Chipboard Accents & fussy cut images from the Paper Pad I embellished my layout, the ‘Happy Moments’ title also a chipboard piece. I was then able to fold up all the edges of the triangles to add some texture, it’s those little details that make all the difference to a page.

And obviously no layout of mine is complete until I add a little bit of sparkle using sequins & gems. I’m pretty sure most of you have a 6×6 paper pad or 2 hidden away in your stash, or even if you are on the look out for something new in store, why not give this technique a try.
