49th & Market Spectrum Gardenia | Julie Taylor

Have you ever found the perfect collection for your photo? Well this is how I felt about 49th & Market Spectrum Gardenia & this photo, a match made to go together!!!

These photos have loads of different colours in them & I needed a collection that reflected that & Spectrum Gardenia was just perfect. It’s a large, diverse collection & some of the other team members have used it & their layouts are very different from mine so proves it’s a winner!!

I choose Painted Foundations Array as my background, which has pops of black on but plain enough so I could add my own mixed media to it. I brayered on a few strips of oxide inks going horizontally down the page & added black machine stitching to give the impression of a stitched square.

I built up my photo matt using the 2 photos vertically & layering bits from the Ephemera bits, that pack is BURSTING!!!! I tucked in some inked gauze, lace, a view finder reel, tickets & a couple of the filmstrip frames from the collection.

Have you tried the 49th & Market rub ons yet??? OMG they are a game changer, go on like butter & the variety is amazing!!! These large black & white words, out of this collection, are fabulous, I’m on my second pack!! Just so versatile & would enhance any page.

The finishing touch is one of the exclusive flair badges that HLM make to go with all collections. There are 6 sets that match this collection & I choose one out the Gardenia Sentiments pack & added it top right.

Pop on over & check out this lovely collection, you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks for joining me today.

Until next time,
