49 & Market | Summer Porch | Part Three | Giselle Homer
Hi everyone,
I have my last layout for August to show you today using the Summer Porch collection from 49 & Market. I don’t think I will ever tire of using this collection, it’s gorgeous!
SAIL AWAY WITH ME
I began by using the reverse side of the paper called ‘At Sea’ as my base. Then I chose a window frame to work alongside my photo. I backed the frame with a die cut tree & a piece of patterned paper to create a ‘view’ behind it.
Then I backed my photo, distressed the edges & added a rope cut file along 2 outer edges. I glued both pieces to the page placing the photo at a slight angle. And added some rub-on transfers on the right.
Next I embellished the lower corner of the ‘window frame’ with die cut flowers & some acetate leaves. I also placed my chipboard title in the middle.
I continued adding more die cut flowers & chipboard elements on the right blending them over the patterned paper base.
I’ll see you here next month, in the meantime, happy scrapping everyone!
