49 & Market | Summer Porch | Part 2 | Giselle Homer

Hi everyone,

Here’s my second layout for the month using the Summer Porch collection from 49 & Market. The colours & themes in this collection are proving to be very popular for UK summer photos!

I decided to go back to a more simple style for this layout to ensure that the focus is on the photo – which I just love!

ESCAPE TO THE COAST

 

I cut an outline circle & printed my photo to fit, then glued it into place just off centre on the right. This was embellished with some rub-on transfers, die cut flowers & seaside elements.

 

I extended the design to include more die cuts on the left, including a cute rowing boat, starfishes & a chipboard seagull.

And then I underpinned it all with a die cut of a fishing net, which I partially tucked underneath the other elements.
Then I took a chipboard tag, added a few more floral embellishments along with a chipboard banner & seagull. All of which were glued at the top left corner to add a finishing touch. 
I’ll be back later in the month with another seaside layout using this fun collection. Until then, happy scrapping everyone!
