49 and Market | Spectrum Sherbet | Giselle Homer
Hello again Magpies,
Today I’m sharing a layout using this very popular collection from 49 & Market called Spectrum Sherbet. The water colour artwork & designs are simply beautiful! There are two colour ways to chose from, one is is pink, the other is mainly teal, which I’ve chosen for this layout.
Together
The base page is called Splendored & provides a great background of subtle colours. I began by stamping a mesh pattern in blue & yellow as I wanted to underpin the elements going across the page.
Then I added layers behind my photo using laser cut ephemera from the collection, which includes film strips & pieces with torn notebook edges. These are available in both colour ways & includes some little phrases too.
Then I placed embellishments horizontally across the page in line with the photo. I used rub-ons, laser cut elements & acetate leaves. I chose a title & placed it above a patterned strip cut from the edge of one of the papers. The collection has some great patterned packaging that can be used as well!
I finished the page by adding strips of Stitches washi tape to the top & lower edge of the paper. And a cluster of embellishments to the lower right corner, which again, includes laser die cuts & acetate leaves.
And that’s it from me for the time being! I’ll be back later in the month with another project using this beautiful collection.
Until then, happy scrapping everyone!
