49 and Market | Echoes of Time | Part Two | Giselle Homer

Hello Everyone,

Here’s my second layout using Echoes of Time from 49 & Market. This time, I chose an outdoor photo so that I could make use of the florals & leafy ephemera in the collection. They’re really pretty & beautifully drawn.

FAMILY TIME

To begin I chose the paper called Yesterday & used the reverse side to base my design. I trimmed it down to 10″ square & glued it to a piece of sage green cardstock from my own stash.

The photo is backed with plain cardstock, which I then glued into place on the right of the page. I added some trailing flowers on the right. Also, I made a few tags, in different colours, to go behind the photo.

At the top left corner of the photo I placed some cogs, with a ‘Remember This’ label added to the backing cardstock. I threaded baker’s twine to all the tags.

I chose a wooden title from Hey Little Magpie, the colour & the sentiment was just right for this photo! The floral ephemera & leaves that I used around it are from the Wildflower Laser Cut pack.
