49 and Market | Wherever | Giselle Homer
Hello everyone,
It’s April & hopefully spring is now on the way, time to take lots of outdoor photos!
I have a new layout to show you today from the ever popular 49 & Market, one of their latest collections called ‘Wherever’. Although this is essentially a travel themed collection, there are lots of elements that you can use for other outdoor photos & occasions. I teamed it with this picture of my grandson taken whilst he was visiting a sculpture park & I thought it was a great choice for this photo.

I started my layout by stamping a grid pattern using brown ink, in the centre of a sheet of Vanilla cardstock. I though the Vanilla colour would work better than pure white because of all the muted browns, greens & blues in the photo & in the collection itself. I added some ‘stitching’ rub-ons as well.
Next I layered my photo with lots of papers from the collection, die cuts, a hanging tag & wide washi tape which is from my own stash.
For the left side of the photo, I chose two frames which I glued onto layers that blended with those behind the photo. I backed the frames & added hot air balloons, a die cut word & a chipboard title.
Below the photo I placed a chipboard phrase & frame from which I ‘hung’ a die cut camera to add a little interest at the lower part of the page.
A few paint splatters, using watered down gold Nuvo Drops added a finishing touch.
Until next time, happy scrapping everyone!
