49 and Market | Vintage Artistry Sunburst | Giselle Homer
Hi everyone,
It’s that time again to get those holiday photos scrapped now that life settles back into a normal routine! And, for that, why not check out the ‘Vintage Artistry Sunburst’ collection from 49 & Market, it’s full of tropical colours & ephemera. Which, even if you didn’t venture far from home, still work for most holiday pictures.
SUNKISSED DAY
I started this layout by applying inks with a blending brush to make a base for my design.
Then I placed lots of layers, distressing some edges, in the centre of the page. I used a wood effect frame from the Ephemera Bits pack to back my photo & used a phrase Rub-On along the left side. Above the photo I added some floral ephemera & a cute ‘summer’ garland.
Then I chose two journalling tags which I tucked behind the photo with another rub-on phrase.
There are lots of die cut images in this collection & I couldn’t resist using the ‘look-out tower’, which I placed to the right of the photo. I added some palm tree leaves behind it. And finished the page with a title from the Chipboard Set more die cut flowers, rub-on ephemera & some white acrylic paint splatters.
This collection is so packed full of gorgeous elements & I know I’ll be using it much more.
Until next time, happy scrapping everyone!
