49 and Market | Summer Porch | Giselle Homer

This month I’m using the Summer Porch collection from 49 & Market. It’s just perfect for all your seaside layouts!
ESCAPE TO THE COAST
Having seen an idea on the 49 & Market blog that used chevrons in a grid pattern, so I decided to try it myself. I began by measuring & cutting 6 chevron outlines. Then added photos to three of them & patterned paper to the remaining three.
Once I had decided how to arrange them I glued them in place making sure they were all aligned to each other & the page! I used a journalling card as my title on the middle chevron.
I added some rub-on transfers on either edge of the chevrons & some chipboard die cuts.
And more rub-on transfers along the lower row of chevrons. I finished the layout by adding a rope die cut to the outer chevrons.
