49 and Market | Spectrum Gardenia Part 2 | Giselle Homer

Hello Magpies,

I hope you’re enjoying the summer wherever you are. Today I’m sharing another layout using Spectrum Gardenia, focusing on the stripy reverse side of Painted Foundations Colour Wheel as a backdrop to my photo.

TIME

I began by stamping & sponging a square, approximately 10″ x 10″, in the middle of the base paper using the Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink.  I trimmed the stripe paper to measure  8″ x 8″ distressed the lower edge & glued it into place. Using staples I attached a length of Ric-Rac Trim along the top edge. And some washi tape on three sides.

Using a variety of Rub-Ons, I embellished the lower part of the paper with leaves & a word for my title.

Then I added my photo slightly off centre with a couple of strips of paper along the left & some flowers from the Floral Laser Die Cut Elements. I chose a phrase tag & a chipboard heart to put above the photo.

To finish off the layout I chose a cute little tag & a paper bow from the General Laser Cut Elements & even more flowers.

Until next month, happy scrapping everyone!
