49 and Market | Spectrum Gardenia | Giselle Homer

Hello Magpies,

This month I’m working with 49 & Market’s Spectrum Gardenia collection, this must be one of their most popular ranges, it’s so colourful. That said, I chose just the blues & greens for my first layout to reflect the colours in my photo.

I began by cutting some long strips of the Euphoria patterned paper & arranged them diagonally across the page. I added washi tape to some of them.

 

Then I die cut some hexagons, backfilled them with various papers & cut my photo to fit the largest one.

 

Have you tried the Rub-Ons from 49 & Market? They are fabulous, so many designs to choose from & so easy to use. I chose some outline designs, adding them above & below the paper strips. Plus some little splatters using some watered down Nuvo Drops.

 

Then I just added chipboard shapes & the title, more rub-ons, die cut flowers & a cute tag – love that safety pin!
