49 and Market Mix | Part 2 | Giselle Homer

Hi Magpie friends

Here’s my 2nd layout featuring a mix of collections from 49 and Market. The varied colours contained  in these collections allow you to choose which ones best suit your project, I’ve gone for green & teal which is called Spectrum Sherbet’s Tidal Wave.

Loving Life

I began by adding some light stamping, using a mesh pattern, on a piece of Spectrum Sherbet patterned paper. This defined the space on the layout where I most wanted the image focus.

Next, I added some rub-on transfers from the Art Options Viken. This has some touches of mauve which I liked against the mainly green theme. The rub-on transfers are easy to use & are easily placed as they rub down really well. You can layer them as well, which I did here. There are lots of abstract patterns too, so you can add them almost anywhere on your design!

Next I a trimmed a long strip of 4″ wide Fabric Tape to measure 2″ &  placed it on the left of my page. Plus a strip of Washi Stitch Set alongside that. I chose some of the beautiful Acetate Leaves & Laser Cut Outs to run along the edge of the fabric tape. I backed the photo with 2 papers, distressed the edges & glued it in place.

A few Chipboard Pieces on the lower right of the photo added the final touch to the page.

I hope you check out these collections from 49 and Market, they’re packed full of gorgeous elements for all your layouts!

Until next month, happy scrapping everyone.
