49 and Market | Echoes of Time | Part Three | Giselle Homer
Hello Magpies,
Here’s my latest page using Echoes of Time from 49 & Market. This is quite an unusual collection & it’s been fun to use the quirky elements alongside the pastel designs of the papers.
PAWSOME

I started by tearing a strip from the ‘Take Note’ patterned paper, about 5″ deep, which I glued into place at the top of a piece of white cardstock. I tore thinner strips from two more different papers which I tucked in under the lower edge of the striped one. On top of this I added ephemera from the Laser Cut Elements pack, to create a row along the whole width.

Next I stamped a few vertical lines in a patch on the right, using Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink. The stamp is from my own stash. I then added my photo, which is 4″ square, over the inked area. I chose some leaf sprigs to glue along the right of the photo, with some just above as well.

For my title I chose an Acrylic Piece from the Hey Little Magpie collection. I added some Wildflower Laser Cuts around the title. They are really pretty & there’s lots to chose from in this pack

The black striped paper is quite bold in comparison to the other elements of this page. So I decided not to add too much more to the design in case it looked too ‘busy’ & called it done!
If you’ve used this collection, please share your projects on our Facebook Chat & Inspiration page, we’d love to see them.
Until then, happy scrapping everyone!
