49 and Market | Colour Swatch Ochre | Giselle Homer
Hi everyone,
It’s July & that means I have a new collection to share with you – 49 & Market’s Colour Swatch Ochre. There are quite a few of these Colour Swatch collections in other colours. And since they include a smaller amount of stash than usual they’re good to have in stock, as they are easy to incorporate into your creations.
FRIENDS
I started by backing my photo with paper, a frame & a filing card which I then embellished with rub-on transfers & die cut pieces. Those little paper clips are so cute!
On the right of the photo I placed flower die cuts, an acetate leaf sprig & a tag to write my journalling on.
I placed a Hey Little Magpie Circle Web die, which was painted with Nuvo Drops, on the left. It matches the wooden seat in the photo! Then I added more flowers & leaves plus tiny die cut phrases on both sides.
I chose the chipboard title from another 49 & Market collection & placed it at the lower right edge. Most of the 49&M collections work well with each other which makes it easier to coordinate colours etc. Before gluing everything in place I applied some pale green ink here & there, using a blending brush.
To finish I added a strip of acetate colour blocks along the lower edge & a trim which I cut from the packaging.
So, that’s my first layout done!
