Hello Magpies,

I began by stencilling an area in the centre of a sheet of white cardstock using the Geometric stencil from Hey Little Magpie, using Distress Oxide ‘Dried Marigold’ Ink. Then I cut two pieces of patterned paper from the small paper pad to make a base approximately 8″ x 6″. I used this as a ‘guide’ for the placement of everything else on the layout. Before gluing them in place I trimmed the edges to make them uneven.

I backed 3 photos, each measuring 2.25″ x 3″, with a grid pattern paper scrap from my own stash. Then I added some laser cut leaves & tags made from the collection papers which I tucked behind the photos at the top.

On the right I placed a title from Hey Little Magpie’s range of wooden etched pieces. Then added some small fabric flowers & a doily from one of the monthly embellishment packs.

I added two more small flowers & a trim of orange lace tucked under the lower edge of the base papers, with a laser-cut ribbon wrap along the edges of the photos. Finally, I sprinkled some watered down Copper Nuvo Drops over the stencilled edges.

I hope you might be tempted to check out the Colour Swatch ranges, they’re a great addition to your stash.
Until next time, happy scrapping everyone!
