Hello Magpies,
I have a lovely collection called Serenity to share with you this month. It’s full of blues & pale browns, with lots of ephemera & sets of gorgeous rub-on transfers, all of which make a lovely combination.
HAPPY DAYS
For this layout I began by trimming a piece of the Peaceful Notions paper & glued it to Fluttering Trio paper. Then I added some washi tape from the Stitch Set Assortment to make a border.
I stencilled some rays using a blender brush, then I hand cut some segments in different sizes & papers to form a circle in the centre of the page. I drew around them using a fine liner pen & also drew a rough circle around all of the segments. Plus some Mini Puffy Phrases from Rosie’s Studio at the left corner of the photo.
I backed the photo with 2 papers making them wider on the right for some embellishment space. To the right edge of the photo I added some Laser Cut Outs lace, a flower & some leaves. I added a phrase & a heart above the photo.
To finish I found an alphabet in my stash to add the title. And then I added some splatters of white paint over the page & applied some rub-on transfer patterns above & below the photo
I’ll definitely be using this collection again, it’s so beautiful & I’ll have another layout to share later in the month. Until then, happy scrapping everyone!
