{3 Happy Days – Day one}
Hi everyone, Jen here to share with you three days of layouts using Echo Park ‘Happy Days’.
I’m a big fan of Echo Park, I think their paper collections are always so much fun. This is no exception. It’s such a great seletcion of patterns, perfect so for many different themes and suited to both boy and girl pages – I love versatile ranges like that!
You can view and purchase this range in the shop here:
I used the 6×6 paper pad which features heavy weight, double sided papers in all the designs featured in the usual 12×12 size apart from the border strips and journalling cards, which I also purchased for my pages. You get 2 of each sheet, which I love because it means no having to choose my favourite side! I love 6×6 pads like this because the patterns are scaled down. Sometimes I find the 12×12 sheets with heavy pattern can feel a bit overwhelming at full size, but are easy to work with at this mini size – win!
This page features a really fun photostrip from the photobooth at a friend’s recent wedding. (Just in case anyone is getting married soon – check out photobooths for your guests – amazing!)
One of my absolute favourite buys from this collection is the alphabet sticker sheet. This is fantastic value for money – you get 4 different alphabets, some borders, tabs and 24 word stickers – how’s that for £2.99?!
I love to mix my title fonts up to create fun elements, so I tried to squeeze lots of different fonts into my title. I used 3 different ones from the sticker sheet, along with a word cut from the journalling cards sheet and layered onto a chipboard banner. Elsewhere on the page I used other chipboard pieces and a border strip for more text based embellishments.
The finishing touches to my page were some fancy brads, some chipboard pieces and some stickers from the 12×12 element sticker sheet. I added some doodling around some of the stickers and papers for definition, and jotted down the key date & place details.
