Let's Party with Simple Stories… Woo Hoo!!!
When I first saw the new Let’s Party collection I couldn’t wait to get it right away. There are so many pieces that I love in this collection. But when i got it and started working with it I just got blocked. Do you know that feeling? Despite the fact that I just love every single paper and embellishment of this collection I had to put it back to the box and wait. It didn’t take long when I came back to this collection. I have so many fantastic pictures which suit this collection perfectly.
I found great photo from my son’s birthday party where kids are having fun playing with balloons. So the main point on my first layout are balloons.
I used all balloons which I found in the collection. Chipboards and bits&pieces and stickers… I cut them out from this paper and from 3×4 card and 4×6. I used all of them in my layout to make it fun and crazy.
In the next layout I used picture of my daughter on her first birthday. We had great party with all our friends coming. That’s why I used all the kids motifs again from stickers & chipboards sets.
I made my layout very bright and colorful because that’s how birthday parties should be… happy and fun. Cut out banner from Hip Hip Hooray! Paper. I added number 1 from Pocket Pieces Numbers and big caption Happy Birthday from 12×12″ Fundamentals Stickers.
My last layout is actually first I made. I used here again big number from the numbers set. I had real fun when I was making this scrap… I try to think like a kid and make it a little bit crazy.
That’s why my 6 takes a part in a party and blows confetti. I used here lot of pieces from Bits & Pieces Die Cuts.
Because we celebrated my son’s 8 birthday 3 days ago I used my layouts as a party wall decor.
I didn’t forget about page in my Project Life from his party. I used here cards not from Snap Pack but from single paper like 4×6″ Horizontal Elements Paper or 3×4″ Journaling Card Elements Paper.
